INTERSTAT is a French SARL founded in 1993 by three highly experienced marketing researchers, acknowledged as being among the best consultants in Europe.

Alain PIOCHE

Managing Director of BURKE MARKETING RESEARCH France from 1974 to 1986. During this period, Alain Pioche initiated the European Launch of the “Bases” model in collaboration with Lynn LIN (author of the model). It was the first step towards the internationally renowned success of this model.

From 1987 to 1992, Vice President of NIELSEN Europe in charge of “New Developments” : consumer panels, “single source” project, TV audience measurement, etc. In 1990, Alain Pioche is responsible for marketing modeling within the Statistical Department of Nielsen International at a global level.

Since 1993, Associate Director of INTERSTAT.

Jean-Pierre BIDON

Ecole Polytechnique, INSEAD (1977). Managing Director of MOTIVACTION in 1978, a French company primarily specialized in marking research for “fast moving consumer goods”, Jean-Pierre Bidon contributed to the internationalization of the company (Europe mainly) and its development in TV audience measurement.

Since 1993, Associate Director of INTERSTAT.
